January 5, 2010 Still time to help Avera Eureka Health Care Center chapel become a reality The “We’re Building a Chapel” capital campaign at Avera Eureka Health Care Center is nearing the goal of $120,000. Those who would like to be part of this special mission still have time to give a gift. Plans are to break ground for the chapel in spring 2010.

December 8, 2009 Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates joining Avera family Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates is becoming part of Avera St. Luke’s Clinic Division and Avera Medical Group, effective Jan. 1. Physicians at the specialty care clinic are Scott Berry, MD; Tage Born , MD ; Gregg Carlson, MD; and Christine Stehly, MD. All four physicians are board certified in obstetrics and gynecology.

November 17, 2009 Capital campaign to benefit Avera Eureka Health Care Center chapel There’s no worship space at Avera Eureka Health Care Center except for the dual purpose activity/dining room, but a $120,000 capital campaign hopes to remedy that. A proposed 40-seat, 860-square-foot addition to the southeast corner of the care center will provide a permanent spiritual setting for residents, families, staff and the community.
